Fresh produce shouldn't have to travel 1,000's of miles and take over a week to get to your table. We proudly grow, source and serve high quality produce to tables in all of Central Virginia.

Our food system is evolving as we focus more on healthy, locally sourced produce. We offer a handcrafted weekly salad kit and other seasonal specialties delivered weekly as part of our Farm-To-Salad business.
We are a local farm and enjoy working and partnering with other farmers and chefs to bring high quality, local produce to the community in which we live. We stand by the products we sell and strive to exceed your expectations.

We will review and respond via email confirming the order and/or seeking further clarification. It could be a few days in responding based on the weekly schedule.
Our emails sometimes end up in promotions, junk or spam folders. Checking them and/or add info@farm-to-salad.com to your safe senders list fixes this.
You should receive a basic email confirmation to be added to the subscriber distro in order to get the Salad of the Week emails.
We will send a personal confirmation email. We review orders a few times a week, so it may be a few days before hearing from us.

We use fresh produce grown in our garden and our passive vented greenhouse that are herbicide and pesticide free. We work with other local farms that share the same passion for responsible and sustainable agriculture.
Each week we handcraft a unique salad using fresh produce with a layer of filling toppings and a flavorful Farm Made from scratch dressing. We make a different prepackaged salad kit each week which is larger than a those multi-serving kits in the store. Our salad kits stay fresh up to a week (kept refrigerated) since they are delivered days from harvest.
Salads are delivered within days of harvest, preparation, and packaging in our certified commercial kitchen of the farm. We deliver our salads and other grocery items directly to your home, porch, place of work or anywhere we can to deliver fresh local food from our farm(s) directly to you.
Ordering our salads are easy and we offer a flexible subscription with no strings attached! Subscribing helps us plan and forecast our crops both on our farm and with other local farmers.

Since our goal is to offer a custom experience for each of our guests, we find it better to first visit the farm to discuss your vision for the weekend. From there we can quickly pull together an estimate and work together with transparency to finalize the weekend package to fit your dream and your budget. The rates start at $3,500 and since we only host one event per weekend, our fee structure remains the same whether you hold your ceremony, reception, or both onsite.
Some of the more typical services we offer include preparing and serving a locally sourced Rehersal dinner, continental or southern breakfast buffet, dinner options for the main event, or late night reception snack for guest (e.g. mini doughnuts or chicken wings). With our Farm-To-Salad business we have a commercial kitchen on site including a 10'x12' walk in cooler.
We love growing, sourcing, preparing and serving food at our events. The Sky is the limit! Bring us your ideas and lets figure it out!
